EIGHT DAY KENYA SAFARIS

Day 0: arrival- Nairobi
Pick up from the airport on arrival and transfer you to your hotel for overnight stay in readiness for your holiday safari departure the following day(self booked).

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara game reserve ( 265 km: 4-5 hrs)

0730hrs:Pick up from your Nairobi hotel / Nairobi airport; Proceed to the Masai Mara game reserve.

The drive to the Mara is via Kenya urban and rural settings that contrast dramatically as you progress towards the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Most of the drive to Masai Mara Game reserve shall be at the floors of the great rift valley and through Masai country.

During the afternoon, explore the Masai Mara on your first game viewing drive of safari.

Overnight at your Masai Mara safari lodge or tented camp.

Meal plan: Lunch, Dinner.

Day 2: Masai mara game reserve – full day

Today shall be a game viewing extravaganza!

Masai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region.

The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

We shall traverse the Masai Mara reserve on a full day of unlimited game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game.

Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara river as we watch hippos & crocodiles or maybe the great migration (July – October)

Overnight shall be at your Masai Mara safari lodge / tented camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara to lake Nakuru: (275 km: 5 Hrs.)
A short morning game viewing drive may scheduled for the early morning game drive before departing for lake Nakuru National. Full breakfast and later depart for the lake Nakuru national park with lunch enroute with stops on scenic points to arrive at your accommodation golden palace resort by evening for overnight. Time spent utilizing the hotel facilities including the swimming pool here for the little princes.

Flamingo ( Greater and Lesser though they are not much today ), White Rhino, Black Rhino, Waterbucks, unique vegetation about 550 species waterfalls: Makalia.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park-Lake Naivasha.

After breakfast proceed for a game drive to Lake Nakuru which is world renowned for its masses of flamingoes and is often referred to as the “Pink Lake”. Beside birds, it is possible to see small game, like Water Buck, Impala, Rhino and Buffalo in the gardens surrounding and later head to lake Naivasha to arrive by early afternoon shall be spent enjoying a boat ride where we spot small game in idyllic settings. (Optional though).

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli: (350 km. 5 Hrs)

Morning game drivebin hell’s gate Hells gate national park where you ride and trek as you watch small game.

What you may do at Lake Naivasha ………

Boat ride, bicycle tour, Hell’s gate national park tour and later exit and drive to Amboseli to arrive by evening with a game drive if time permits. If not our guide is more experienced, he will find away to compensate this in the Park. Normally a Short game viewing drive with possible views of the Mount Kilimanjaro peaks.(Weather permitting).

Dinner and overnight at your Amboseli kimana camp.

Elephant Cheetah, Wild dog , Buffalo, Giraffe, Zebra, Lion,Mongoose, Hyrax, Dik-dik, Lesser Kudu and nocturnal porcupine etc

Day 6: Amboseli National Park.
Early pre-breakfast game viewing drive at the Amboseli national park.

Weather permitting the clouds will shear off, leaving you mesmerized by the majesty of the Kilimanjaro and its gleaming snow capped peaks.

Today shall be spent exploring the Amboseli National park on unlimited game viewing drives.

Overnight shall be at your Kimana safari camp.

Day 7: Amboseli -Tsavo west: (100 km: 2 Hrs.)
Short morning game viewing drive is scheduled at the Amboseli this morning

The park is open and relatively small. Game viewing drives are concentrated and wildlife easy to spot.

Mount Kilimanjaro mass provides wonderful back ground for photographic moments.

Later the safari tour proceed to Tsavo east national park with game spotting and scenery viewing en – route. Game viewing drives at the open savanna plains of the Tsavo.
Overnight shall be at your Tsavo east safari lodge or red elephant lodge.
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

What you may see at Tsavo East national park:

Vast herds of dust-red elephant, Black Rhino, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard, pods of hippo, Waterbucks, Lesser kudu, Gerenuk and Hirola.

Day 8: Tsavo East National Park- Mombasa.

Morning game drive in the park and later exit to proceed to Mombasa south/north cost beaches for drop off.

Cost: Each adult to pay 1180 usd per head and
The child to pay 840 usd per head all inclusive safari package.
